🏁 Powerhouse Partnership – Peter Hickman and 8TEN Racing Launch 2026 TT Campaign

The Isle of Man TT is the ultimate test of man and machine, and for 2026, the stakes have never been higher. Following a foundational 2025 season, 8TEN Racingβ€”the elite team co-owned by Peter Hickman and Davey Toddβ€”has officially launched its bid for Mountain Course glory.

As the official BMW Motorrad supported team for the TT, North West 200, and British Superstock championships, 8TEN Racing enters 2026 with a level of preparation and factory backing that signals a clear intent: total dominance on the island.

πŸš€ The Riders & Their Machinery
For 2026, the grid’s two fastest men are streamlining their efforts. While they remain teammates under the 8TEN banner for the big bikes, they are also united on British metal for the smaller classes through Hickman’s PHR Performance arm.

Peter Hickman (#10)

The outright lap record holder (136.358 mph) is looking to reclaim the Senior TT trophy. After a 2025 plagued by technical gremlins, “Hicky” is back at 100% fitness and focus.

Superbike/Superstock: BMW M 1000 RR (8TEN Racing)

Supersport: Triumph Street Triple 765 RS (PHR Performance)

Davey Todd (#8)

The reigning Superbike TT winner and 2025 “King of the Roads” is now firmly established as the man to beat. For 2026, he moves to Triumph machinery in the Supersport class to mirror Hickman’s setup.

πŸ› οΈ The Winning Edge: Factory BMW Support
The 2026 8TEN Racing BMWs are essentially World Superbike-spec machines adapted for the bumps of the Mountain Course. They feature the latest Evolution 3.0 aero package, providing massive stability at 200+ mph, and a refined ShiftCam engine pushing north of 205 hp.

With Team Manager Darren Jones (Hickman) and Stewart Johnstone (Todd) leading the technical side, the garage boasts the most experienced crew in the paddock.

πŸ” Why 2026 is Different
Unlike the 2025 season, which was a race against time to get the team ready, 2026 is all about refinement. The team has already completed extensive winter testing and competed at the Daytona 200, ensuring that when the bikes drop onto Glencrutchery Road in May, they are already race-proven.
